Basic Personal Information

Guan Bin is a Doctor of Law and holds the position of associate professor. He is currently the Executive Director of the Financial Law Research Center and the Leader of the Master of Economic Law Instructor in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From October 2005 to October 2006, he went to Bayreuth University, Germany as a visiting scholar. He is also serving as the Researcher of the Institute for Human Rights Law in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Director of China Economic Law Research Association, Director of China Finance and Taxation Law Research Association, Director of China Securities Law Research Association, Director of China Social Law Research Association, Vice president of Agricultural Law Research Association of Hubei Law Society, Vice president of Social Law Research Association of Hubei Law Society, Expert from PPP Expert Database of Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission (Legal Category), Evaluating Expert in Typical Cases and Excellent Legal Instrument of Hubei Higher People's Court, Women and Children Development Expert of Hubei Working Committee on Children and Women, etc.

Main Research Directions

The main research directions of Prof. Guan are Finance and Taxation Law, basic theories of Economic Law and Social Law, Feminist Jurisprudence. He has published four monographs and participated in the compilation of more than ten teaching materials. He has also published more than 70 academic papers in China Legal Science, Studies in Law and Business, Peking University Law Journal, Modern Law Science, Economic Law Forum, Economic Perspectives, Journal of Huazhong University of science and technology and other journals, Many papers have been reproduced in full text by Copying Newspapers and Periodicals of Renmin University of China (including D412 "Civil and Commercial Law", D413 "Economic Law, Labor Law", F62 "Finance and Insurance") , "The Essence of Chinese Economic Law", etc. In addition, Prof. Guan has resided over four provincial and ministerial (or above) projects.
