In the past five years, the contributions of the faculty members of the Law School comprise more than 200 essays published on Social Sciences In China, Chinese Journal of Law, China Legal Science, Queen Mary Journal of Intellectual Property (SSCI) and other top professional journals and 30 treatises, winning five Research Achievement Awards at and above the provincial level.

In order to serve major national strategic demand, vigorous efforts have been made by the Law School to provide consultative advises for the decision-making of the CPC Central Committee, Ministries and Commissions under the State Council, National People's Congress, Supreme People's Court, UN and other international organizations. In the various processes of legislation at multiple levels, dozens of think-tank reports have been presented, appertaining Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China, Trade Secrets Law, Law of the People’s Republic of China for Countering Unfair Competition, Interim Measures for administrative punishment in Education, and many of which have been approved by the leaders and adopted in competent agencies.

Meanwhile, teachers and students of the Law School have set up Community Legal Service Center and organized various legal assistance and popularization activities at different levels, which benefits more than 3,000 people directly each year, thus making outstanding contribution to the construction of the rule of law in China. All these have been commended and recognized by judicial organs at various levels and the whole society at large.
